Can catch unrecognisable pictures of kelf, GX and me in the audience shot. Somehow the up close and personal atmosphere was very Alice in Chains unplugged.
And for christ's sake i didn't shout out the song. It was sort of a mumble. Most importantly, Fadila got the title wrong. It was "circling square". But a memorable end to an intimate evening indeed ;)

Just communicated with a dear friend. Someone i haven't seen or talked to in while. An angel. But well, i haven't seen or talked to many people in a while. Well this friend commented that my blog is too "chim", and she would rather i write about interesting events that occur day-in day-out. I stop and think.

She is probably right. All this pretentious crap i'm writing is probably boring the wits out of many people. Then again i question the purpose of this blog. I guess to me it's a platform for my creativity ( if there is any of it left ). I used to be an Arts student. Reading and writing had been sort of a passion. But as usual, i'm brilliant at making wrong decisions. In fact i'm even better at not making decisions and letting things ride.
Since i'm a melancholic old fool, I've been drowning in my own sorrow instead of attempting to perservere with the things i'm passionate about. I've never really fought for anything i wanted. Somehow i don't see the importance of fighting. When young, we always question the meaning of life. The truth is there really isn't any but what you make out of it. So i lack the will power.

Life is a mould. We are the clay. We shape the mould that moulds us. Take time in moulding the mould and you're be pleased with the figure it moulds. Leave it on its own and you'll just come out as a shapeless formless piece of rock.

SOrry... been busy, tired and lazy. So haven't really been writing. Who reads my stuff anyway.

wateva... so... same shit different day. From Pam's messageboard i ventured into kelvin's. There was some comment abt fake plastic trees.
( For the uninitiated its a radiohead song) SO i decided to post a comment too. Afterwards, I closed the page leaving me with pam's page.... and there the blogspot banner was advertising the sale of radiohead tickets. SO uncoincidentally, GX was wearing a radiohead T-shirt today when i met him and kelf. GX has 3 radiohead t-shirts so far. I haf 2. both from buying their album from HMV. Yep i bot the limited edition Hail to the Thief album a couple of months back when i was out with Elicia. Bought EEL's shootenanny together with it. Anyway the point is the limited edition album came with a useless fold-out map of sorts. AT least it's useless to me because neither can i decipher the cryptic meanings to it nor pull it out and use it as a poster. That's because there was too much glue used to attach it to the album. IT would make pretty neat poster though.

Yeah. radiohead is cool. Did sign the petition for them to come down for a concert in singapore a couple of years back. Nothing came out of it though. I mean there were no great expectations in the first place. Just hope. Hope. The last thing out of pandora's box. The greatest evil to mankind.

Anyway thanks to the radiohead coincidence that i started to blog again. Yeah i guess like every band who goes on a hiatus would wind up losing a portion of listeners. SO i'm glad that you are reading this. from my message board i can see that one or two of u are still coming to this site occasionally. For those who read my blog, i salute you. For those about to rock, we salute you. NO, no... should i start ranting about AC|DC now? hmmm.... well maybe i'll just say that my SG is still alt Guitar Hospital. It's been there for almost half a year.

(Again for the uninitiated, SG is a model of guitar manufactured by the Gibson company. Angus Young is the guitarist for AC|DC, he is known to play SGs exclusively and "for those about to rock, we salute you" is an AC|DC anthem. And finally AC|DC is an influential 80's hard rock band known for their signature riffs..... man that was tiring... but now you see the picture?)

Guess i've still got lots of misgivings to complain. But nah, let's not discuss them. Today is already an exception. I'm speaking directly. Just like any other blog user. I'll continue my stories some other time when i have the energy. Really i appreciate your time reading.
Oh yah.... the silver guitar is an SG lor.... the guitar that the drummer of my hall band accidentally and indirectly broke... just a bad twist of fate..... mine was whitish in colour. It had aged nicely in terms of appearance, sound and feel..... sigh......
